Dr Stuart Gibson (61) has been associated with the Middle East since living in Kuwait in the early 1980’s. He moved to Jersey in 1998 and started working for the law firm Mourant; followed by over ten years with South African banking group FirstRand Bank. He founded his research, education and advisory firm Gibson Strategy in 2011, focusing on the private client and wealth management industry.

 

Dr Stuart Gibson holds a PhD in Private Banking and Wealth Management, along with an MSc and Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.

 

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr Gibson has made significant contributions as a Visiting University Lecturer and has served as a Governor for institutions such as Victoria College, Jersey, and the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity. Currently, he is a Trustee of the Jersey charity 'FOCUS on Mental Illness.'
